I ordered this chain so that I could put some sterling silver white gold vermeil charms that I got for Christmas on it. I was looking for something substantial, and this fits the bill. It is a beautiful, substantial chain, it has a nice weight to it, and the snake charms look great on it. I am unsure about the ball clasp, but it snaps together quite nicely, but we’ll see how it works in the long-term. It should be fine. I prefer lobster clasp necklaces, and does carry those, but they didn’t appear to be as heavy as this one, and as I said, something with heft was what I was looking for! Overall, very happy with my purchase! This product is actually cheaper on line than it is at the actual store or on their website. Got here at a great time and is exactly what it looks like as the picture shows. My mother in law loved it! This is a really lovely necklace comes with a certificate .It is just beautiful. I order the 18 inch, and I wish I had ordered a longer one. I have absolutely no complaints, it is just beautiful. I love the chain. It is what I expected. Loved that it came not only in a box. But in a bag as well. Plain on buying more. I bought four or five of these chains four different pendants and in different lengths. There are sturdy shiny and well-made. Well worth the money at a great value. Highly recommend. I have had this chain for about six months now, and can’t say enough good things! I’ve had expensive white gold chains that kept their finish but don’t hold up to much stress, and sterling silver chains that were affordable. It’s delicate enough for a small, ladylike pendant, strong enough to hold up to abuse, and has kept its sheen despite several hours in pool and showers! I highly recommend!
